When I was five years old, my parent's enrolled me in gymnastics because of an "excess of energy". After a semester doing backbends at the Marie Shaw School of Dance in West Reading, Pa, I quit. However, the owner of the studio suggested I join an all boys tap class. So, I put tap shoes on and have been tapping ever since. The joke was on my parents though, because then they had an energetic five year old running around the house with tap shoes on.
During my adolescence, I performed in school musicals, dance recitals, took voice lessons and did community theater in my home town of Reading, Pennsylvania.
I graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theater in 2005 and dove right into performing. My first big job out of college was the National Tour of "42nd Street". From there I have performed at such regional theaters as Goodspeed Opera House, The Rev, The John W. Engeman Theater, Theater Under The Stars, The Marriott Lincolnshire, and The Signature Theater to name a few.
I made my Broadway debut as Lucky in "Dames At Sea" in 2015, I was in "Flying Over Sunset" at Lincoln Center and "A Christmas Carole" on Broadway. I also performed George M Cohan in the Rockettes Summer Spectacular, "Lady, Be Good!" at City Center Encores, and will be returning to Broadway this Fall in the new musical "Flying Over Sunset" at Lincoln Center.
I am currently in the world premiere of "The Opposite of Love" Off-Broadway.
